The Vancouver Bitcoiners invite the community to celebrate the close of Paper Bitcoin Summer with a special BBQ on Sunday, September 7th, at the Locarno Beach Picnic Site.
Here’s the deal:
- FREE to join the event with your friends, bring your own drinks or buy them from concessions. Bring your own ready-made food or buy it from concessions. Alcoholic drinks are allowed at this beach.
- $10 to put your own food on the grill and drinks in the cooler. This fee helps us cover the rental cost and cannot be refunded if the event is cancelled due to bad weather. Kids are free. Price rises to $20 five days before event. All profits will be spent on communal snacks.
- $30 if you would like to join our big BBQ platter of beef, pork sausages, chicken and seafood. This item includes the cost of the ticket. $20 can be refunded if the event is cancelled.

This gathering is a chance for local Bitcoiners to come together in a relaxed outdoor setting, enjoy good food, and share conversations about Bitcoin and the lessons of a busy summer. With the stunning backdrop of Locarno Beach, the event combines community spirit with the laid-back atmosphere of a classic BBQ.
