Welcome to the Houston Bitcoin Meetup! Come and learn about the latest developments in bitcoin, especially mining and its relationship with the energy industry.
This month. we’ll look back at the events over the past month to start as usual. Then we’ll be hosting a discussion with Garrett Morrow who is Head of Power and Energy Management at Peak Mining, the bitcoin mining arm of Northern Data Group. Garrett is a power industry veteran based in Houston. Peak Mining has a 300MW site in Corpus Christi, TX and as manager of a large flexible load, Garrett will walk us through all the complex and mission critical aspects of ERCOT grid programs and markets from the perspective of bitcoin mining.
