Bitcoin Gold Coast Meetup returns on Tuesday, October 13th, once again taking over the RQ’s Tavern in Robina QLD for a friendly and Bitcoin-focused gathering.

If anyone has any agenda items they want to discuss, let us know. I have recently started using password managers and Yubikeys, so Thomas wants me to chat about that for a while. I will have another update on the Debifi / Ledn differences as there has been considerable movement there from both platforms. I also want to talk to Thomas about what he’s doing with his AI agent, and what I’m doing with mine. I suspect that last point will be the epitome of the blind leading the blind, so if anyone else knows more about AI agents and wants to talk to an interested audience, please come along. If there’s time and interest, I will do a brief presentation on the history of central banking.
I do think it’s easy for us to get our entire education about Central Banks from BTC influencers who, quite frankly, aren’t serious educators. If you get into an argument with an Economist about whether we should ‘End the Fed’, you’re going to wish you understood more about it than Rustin.
