The Chilliwack Bitcoin Meetup is back on Wednesday, May 13 Marais Tea Company, bringing together curious minds and experienced enthusiasts for monthly conversations about Bitcoin.
The meetup includes a Bitcoin 101 presentation by a different member of the community each month. This month the meetup will be held at Marais Tea Company and Cafe. The cafe accepts Bitcoin as payments for food and drinks and Marais Tea.
This months speaker will be a special guest Scott Dedels, author of the new book The Age of Time.
Scott Dedels is an entrepreneur and writer exploring the intersection of technology, time, and civilization.
His work focuses on how systems of measurement — from clocks to money — shape the structure of societies.
He is the cofounder of Block Rewards and the author of The Age of Time and The Dao of Bitcoin.
