₿uilder NYC is a monthly gathering for people who like to build. Vibe coding has changed who gets to be creators, bringing in designers, PMs, founders, and tinkerers alongside engineers.
As AI accelerates, meeting in person becomes even more important, letting us learn together, compare notes, demo what people are building, and give feedback. For bitcoin, shipping and sharing in the open makes it easier to see its strengths, spot the gaps, and build toward what’s next
This event series launched last year in San Francisco and has since spread to Miami, Austin, Vancouver, and Atlanta. NYC is next. A few Spiral folks will lead ₿uilder NYC at PubKey to help seed a community here.
Here’s what the evening will look like:
- 5:30–6:15pm: Mingling
- 6:15–7:45pm: Demos + discussion
Moderated by Steve Lee, Haley Berkoe, and Mat Balez, ₿uilder NYC will showcase a few vibecoded apps that integrate bitcoin payments, share a short talk on bitcoin as agentic money, then open up the floor for an interactive conversation about how bitcoin fits into the broader tech/builder community.
