Curious about Bitcoin but don’t know where to start? The headlines say one thing, the charts say another—but what’s the actual deal? Join us for Bitcoin Office Hours at PubKey DC Wednesday, February 11th from 4–6 PM. John Balkam (CMO at Sovreign) will be on hand to cut through the noise and answer the questions you’ve been hesitant to ask, such as:
- What is Bitcoin, what does it mean to be truly scarce, and why is Bitcoin fundamentally different than all other cryptos?
- How do you actually buy it? And do you really have to buy a whole coin? (Spoiler: You can start with as little as $1).
- What is a wallet, and what does it mean to actually own your money through self-custody?
Drop in any time between 4 and 6 PM to get your questions answered. Just mention “Bitcoin Office Hours” to the bartender and they’ll point you in the right direction.
PubKey DC is officially OPEN for food & drink! Check out the menu.
