Brisbane BitDevs returns on Sunday, September 13, bringing together anyone curious about the technical side of Bitcoin — from seasoned developers to enthusiastic newcomers with a background in IT, software, cryptography, or computer systems. Each meetup works through a curated list of topics spanning Bitcoin software, tools, research, protocol upgrades (BIPs), mining, and the broader technical, economic, and philosophical questions that come with it.
5:00 for a 5:15pm start, at the Brisbane Square Library.
This month, among other topics, the group will be discussing Lightning/Arc/Spark.
If you have been on the fence about attending a BneBitDevs, this might be a good first one to attend.
No topic is too technical or nuanced to be discussed.
Expect around a dozen topics per session, each followed by a focused round-table where attendees can weigh in, ask questions, and dig deeper. Topics are community-driven and can be submitted directly via GitHub ahead of the event.
No topic is too technical or nuanced to be discussed.
We do expect some topics to generate discussion. Opinionated, thoughtful and respectful reasoning is encouraged. Unfortunately, we do not have time to entertain topics related to other blockchains.
Food and drink (no alcohol) is allowed and welcome in the community room.
