Join Bitcoin Sydney on Wednesday, August 12 to meet a fantastic lineup of local Bitcoin legends and discuss the financial revolution that is taking place before our eyes.

The discovery and exploitation last week of a 5 year old firmware bug in a popular Bitcoin-Only hardware wallet has sent shock waves through the industry. At the time of writing, around 2000 Bitcoin has been drained from around 7500 unique addresses.
At Wednesdays meetup, cryptographer Lloyd Fournier and Alex Hanley will be doing a review of the Coincard vulnerability.
Following that, they will be joined by several more experienced Bitcoiners for a panel discussion on the future of self-custody and Bitcoin custody in general, in the wake of this incident.
