At the 14th meetup of the Bitcoin Maribor group, we will look into Simple Maps and Locations with Bitcoin Payments.
The first Slovenian Bitcoin conference is behind us. It got us a little hyped. The price also played its part. 😉
It became clear that it would be great for Bitcoin enthusiasts to know where in Maribor we can pay with Bitcoin.
After a quick research, we found that there is a website, btcmap.org, and that there are two types of POS terminals that allow Bitcoin Lightning payments.
We will demonstrate how to find locations that accept BTC. Alongside this, we will showcase free maps from OpenStreetMap and wrap it up with presentations of two POS terminals currently in use in Slovenia, especially in Maribor.
After the event, we will gather at a café where you can meet other members of the Slovenian Bitcoin community and try out how Bitcoin payments work through the lightning network.
The meeting will take place on Thursday, November 21, at 7 PM at the café in Hotel Betnava (Eve Lovše Street 15, Maribor).

Prosti zemljevidi in lokacije z bitcoin plačilom
Prva slovenska bitcoin konferenca je za nami. Malo nas je nahajpala. Malo je cena naredila svoje 😉
Pokazalo se je, da bi bilo fajn, da bi bitcoinerji vedeli, kje v Mariboru lahko plačamo z Denarjem.
Po kratki raziskavi smo ugotovil, da obstaja stran btcmap.org in da obstajata dva tipa POS terminalov s katerimi lahko plačamo z Bitcoin Lightning. Pokazali bomo kako poiščemo lokacije, kjer sprejemajo BTC. Zraven bomo prikazali proste zemljevide OpenStreetMap in vse skupaj zaključili s predstavitvima dveh POS terminalov, ki sta v Sloveniji in predvsem v Mariboru v uporabi.
