This month the Bitcoin Ljubljana will be on Tuesday, March 24th, 2026 at 7 PM at Café Sputnik with Peter Opara, who will introduce us how we can pay parking in Ljubljana using bitcoin.
At this meetup, Peter will present Lightning Parking — a weekend project that lets you pay for parking in Ljubljana using Bitcoin’s Lightning Network. Enter your licence plate, parking zone, and number of hours, scan a Lightning invoice with any wallet, and once the payment settles, an SMS is automatically sent to the city’s parking authority to activate your spot. No app, no account, no fiat — just sats.
The project was built with the help of an AI coding agent, and Peter will talk about both the technical side (Lightning invoices, payment listeners, SMS integration) and what the experience of building with an AI agent actually looks like in practice.The talk is intended for everyone, regardless of prior knowledge.
Kako lahko plačam parkirnino v Ljubljani z bitcoinom????
Ta mesec bomo imeli v Torek, 24.3.2026 ob 19h v kavarni Sputnik srečanje s Petrom Opara srečanje kjer nam bo predstavil kako lahko v Ljubljani plačamo parkirnino z bitcoinom.
Na tem srečanju bo Peter predstavil Lightning Parking — hobi projekt, ki ti omogoča plačilo parkirnine v Ljubljani z uporabo Bitcoina. Vneseš registrsko tablico, parkirno cono in število ur, skeniraš Lightning račun z katerokoli LN denarnico in ko je plačilo potrjeno, se samodejno pošlje SMS za aktivacijo tvojega parkirnega mesta. Brez aplikacije, brez računa, brez fiat denarja — samo satsi.
Projekt je bil zgrajen s pomočjo AI agenta, Peter pa bo govoril tako o tehnični plati (Lightning računi, prejemniki plačil, SMS integracija) kot o tem, kako v praksi izgleda razvoj s pomočjo AI agenta.
