The Bitcoin HK Meetup is a monthly public gathering designed for anyone curious about or already involved in Bitcoin. It provides a hands-on environment where attendees can meet fellow Bitcoiners, install a wallet, and even trade sats directly. Beyond trading, members are encouraged to exchange products or services for Bitcoin—creating a vibrant, flea market-style atmosphere built around peer-to-peer value exchange.
The event is completely free and offers one of the best entry points for people in Hong Kong to begin their Bitcoin journey. Whether you’re interested in learning the basics, experimenting with Lightning payments, or discussing development, there’s a space for you here. Splitting bills with Bitcoin or Lightning is not only welcome but encouraged.
Latecomers are also welcome, as long as they arrive before 8:45 PM. With its open, inclusive format, the Bitcoin HK Meetup stands as a hub for education, experimentation, and community-building in Hong Kong’s Bitcoin scene.
