The Noderunners Workshop is a monthly hands-on session hosted by Vancouver Bitcoiners, designed for anyone interested in running, improving, or experimenting with Bitcoin and Lightning ⚡ nodes. Over the course of two hours, participants work together on node setups, applications, and new ideas, creating a collaborative environment for learning and building.
Attendees are encouraged to bring their own node, laptop, or mobile device, but curiosity alone is enough to take part. Whether you are new to running a Lightning node or already managing your own setup, the workshop provides a supportive community where Bitcoiners can exchange knowledge, troubleshoot challenges, and share innovations.
Schedule:
12pm: Door opens
12:15pm: Lightning talk (rotating speakers and topics, ranging from explaining lightning concepts to demoing tools)
12:30pm: Helping each other out, hacking, fixing, maintaining
13:15pm: Optional sharing
Those that want to stay at DCTRL and hang out can do that until the evening.
