The Ottawa Bitcoin meetup group is proud to announce the first Capital Bitcoiners BitDevs event. We are honoured to have Tim Bouma (@trbouma) present his e-payment platform, “openbalance.app”.
This presentation will provide an overview of payment technologies that are built on the Bitcoin network and promises to be a new way of payment for merchants and customers. This seminar will present the technologies and provide a demonstration of how it actually works for real transactions. No prior knowledge of Bitcoin or programming is required, but if you come with a phone and a browser, you will get your own wallet to experience your first Lightning payment.
Everyone is welcome and light refreshments will be provided.
Attendance is free, but any contribution of sats to null7704@openbalance.app will be used towards upcoming Capital Bitcoiners BitDevs events.
