The last good nights of summer line up with a market reset and a Texas energy reset. Bitcoin mining and AI data centers are now fighting for the same megawatts on ERCOT. Miners that once acted as a flexible grid brake are converting campuses to high-density compute. Texas just paused and audited a massive large-load queue — most of it data centers — while operators with real interconnection and curtailable power sit in a different position than paper projects.
This night is for the people who actually work that problem: energy students, operators, miners, and Bitcoiners who care about power, not slogans.
