Seattle Bitcoin hosts an open Bitcoin investment discussion at Phinney Center on September 29 — beginner-friendly, covering buying, storage, ETFs, and more.
SPECIAL TOPIC FOR THIS EVENT: How to use the BitKey hardware wallet to store Bitcoin securely. We will walk through a live demo of setting up a new BitKey wallet.
Other topics include the best timing for buying and selling Bitcoin, the best places to buy Bitcoin, how and where to keep Bitcoin safely, ETFs, how Bitcoin is different than alt-coins, threats to Bitcoin, common challenges people have investing in Bitcoin, how the government can and may affect Bitcoin, how upgrades are made in Bitcoin, and questions about how Bitcoin works at a technical level. Priority will be given to questions from people who are new to Bitcoin.
