Join Bitcoin 201: It Starts with a Key on May 12 at The Space Denver. Learn keys, seed phrases, signing devices, and cold storage from educator Tim McTavish.
Bitcoin transactions require a cryptographic key. What is a key? How do I get one? How do I use it?
Bitcoin educator and Space member, Tim McTavish, will teach you the basics about how to create a Bitcoin key, store it securely, and use it to transact on the Bitcoin network. You will learn how to use a signing device, the difference between a hot wallet and cold storage, understanding 12-word and 24-word seed words, and how to acquire Bitcoin from an exchange and move it into cold storage.
If you already have a signing device, please bring it.
Drinks will be provided.
