BitDevs Berlin returns to c-base Raumstation on Wednesday, April 8 for its monthly Socratic Seminar — an evening where Berlin’s Bitcoin minds come together to dig into the latest technical developments shaping the protocol.
The night kicks off with pizza and beer, generously sponsored by Ordimint.com, before moving into open, discussion-driven exploration of the most compelling Bitcoin topics from the past month. Whether someone has been following every BIP or is just getting deeper into the technical side of Bitcoin, the format thrives on questions, debate, and the kind of insights that only come from a room full of people who genuinely care about how this technology works.
The event takes place at c-base Raumstation, one of Berlin’s most iconic hacker spaces — a fitting home for conversations pushing Bitcoin forward.
Our goal is to foster lively discussion, knowledge sharing, and debate. In the weeks leading up to the event, participants gather topics such as:
- New research papers
- New BIPs and BOLTs
- Network statistics
- Technical blog posts
- Mailing list and Delving Bitcoin threads
- Pull requests and updates from key repos (Bitcoin Core, LND, Core Lightning, Eclair, BDK, rust-bitcoin, LDK, Electrum, …)
