The FREE Madeira Bitcoin Meetup is back on March 25th, now taking place on the last Wednesday of every month. Everyone is welcome – whether you’re new to Bitcoin or already deep down the rabbit hole.
For the March Meetup, there are two presentations focused on practical tools built around Bitcoin and open technology.

TollGate – Share WiFi. Earn bitcoin.
Cobrador will introduce the TollGate project. You’ll discover how to turn your router WiFi into a paid access point that accepts payments in sats and start earning by sharing your internet connection.
After the presentation, we’ll host a hands-on workshop to install the TollGate firmware on supported routers.
If you have a compatible router, bring it along together with a laptop so we can install it together. There will also be routers available for demonstrations.
LNbits merchant tools – the everything app for businesses
Tiago Vasconcelos will present the suite of LNbits merchant tools and show how the platform can serve as an all-in-one solution for Lightning and fiat payments for businesses.
The session will be held in English, in a relaxed and participatory setting.
Children are welcome.
