Join us for a Bitcoin for Beginners Oakland, CA event where you’ll learn Bitcoin basics in a fun, interactive, and hands-on way!
We’re using Testnet to receive & send Bitcoin to each other. Bitcoin Testnet is a replica of Mainnet. It’s used for testing & development without risking real funds. It’s a safe, fun way to learn Bitcoin basics.
For this event we’re using Blockstream Green, a simple wallet available for both Android and iPhone app stores.
Prerequisites:
- Install the Blockstream wallet onto your smart phone before attending.
- Bring a pen & your smart phone.
