The YYC Bitcoin Only Meetup is bringing Calgary’s bitcoin community together for a hands-on evening ahead of the highly anticipated Calgary SAT Market on July 1. This session is built around the fundamentals of transacting with Bitcoin peer to peer — covering how the mempool works, how Lightning fits into the picture, and what businesses need to know to start accepting bitcoin today.
Whether someone is just finding their footing with on-chain transactions or a local business owner curious about integrating bitcoin payments, this is the right room to be in. The evening takes place at the library until 7:30pm, then moves over to Hudsons for beers and continued conversation with fellow bitcoiners.
