The Round Rock Bitcoiners Meetup brings together home mining enthusiasts for a hands-on evening built around the BitAxe — a compact, open-source Bitcoin miner available on their website for pickup at the November meetup.
Attendees will learn how to lottery solo mine or integrate the device with tools like a Start9OS node and Ocean’s new DATUM mining templates, making it a perfect entry point for anyone curious about home mining.
Before the fun kicks off, the group digs into an educational topic before heading across the street for Bitcoin Happy Hour in historic downtown Round Rock. Light refreshments are provided, and guests are welcome to BYOB.
The evening also features live demos and a peer-to-peer circular economy opportunity — Satoshi Square style — where attendees can buy, sell, and trade directly with one another.
