Personal attacks against bitcoin and crypto holders are on the rise around the world. Some are sophisticated phishing and social engineering schemes, but we’ve also seen more shocking physical security incidents, commonly referred to as “$5 wrench attacks.”
Just a few months ago, he was personally targeted by someone claiming to be a customer support agent from a major exchange, and published a recording of the full conversation, exposing some of the common tactics used by scammers.
