Nebraska Bitcoiners are gathering at Carbon Coffee, a local café that already uses Square, to help kick off a community initiative that connects Bitcoin users with Square-powered local merchants — starting right here.
Square now makes it possible for merchants to accept Bitcoin payments directly through their terminals — a huge step toward real-world adoption.
But for this to matter, businesses need demand. If we want merchants to care about Bitcoin, they need to see Bitcoiners spending Bitcoin in their shops.
That’s where we come in.

- Bitcoiners show up and spend to prove the demand is real.
Together, we’ll help Carbon Coffee enable Bitcoin payments and organize efforts to onboard other local Square merchants — building visibility and momentum across Nebraska.
