The next Indy Bitcoin Meetup will be on Wednesday, December 17th, from 7–9 p.m. at Union Jack Pub in Broad Ripple. Dave will give a presentation titled “Sound Money, Sound Risk” at 7:30 p.m.
From Lloyd’s coffeehouse beginnings in the late 1600s to modern insurance, we’ll explore how inflation breaks reserves, distorts pricing, and corrodes trust, and how Bitcoin-backed collateral can restore the foundation of global risk management and produce sustainable Bitcoin-native yield through real underwriting.
If you haven’t been to a meetup yet, we meet on the third Wednesday of every month. Newcomers are always welcome! We’ve been averaging 25–30 guests per meetup, and there’s always a handful of new faces. It doesn’t matter if you’re a longtime Bitcoiner or brand new to the space – everyone is welcome.
