Join us at Yiayias at The Fox, Surrey’s 1st Bitcoin accepting pub! Built in the 15th century + it’s also an award winning family run Greek restaurant!!
Come and join us to discuss Bitcoin, watch the documentary and learn about Bitcoin mining and the positive effects it’s having and can have across the globe, from countries in the global South including in Africa, to G8 nations; and of course partake in bitcoin being used as medium of exchange i.e. being used to pay for drinks and delicious authentic Greek food made by the owner’s family who are Greek-Cypriot and spent many summers in Cyprus living with Yiayia (Grandma) Theodora.
Yiayia is the inspiration that led to the creation of the kitchen fuelled by family, love, and a passion for good food; they wanted to bring this feeling to the UK so now we have “Yiayias at The Fox”! To quote the owner Paul “We don’t have customers, we have GUESTS!”
The screening is free to attend, everyone is welcome, but capacity in the screening room is limited to 50, so please register for a ticket.
