The Bitcoin Masterminds series, hosted by Vancouver Bitcoiners, is a new study group dedicated to diving deep into the technical aspects of Bitcoin. The second session will focus on Chapter 2 of Mastering Bitcoin by Andreas Antonopoulos.
Although highly technical in nature, the meetup welcomes participants who may not yet consider themselves technical, provided they read and engage with each chapter ahead of the discussions. The format emphasizes group-led exploration rather than formal teaching, with participants expected to bring questions, insights, and reflections from their reading.
The book covers twelve chapters, and with a cadence of one session every three weeks, the full cycle will take about 36 weeks to complete, with the possibility of extension if interest remains strong. Each participant is encouraged to have their own copy of Mastering Bitcoin, available for free via GitHub or as a hard copy on Amazon.
The meetup will take place at FUNK café, beginning before closing and continuing afterward with the doors locked for privacy. Attendees are welcome to purchase drinks or snacks before the 4:00 PM closing time and remain for the discussion.
