The Bitcoin Gold Coast Zürich meetup is where Bitcoiners and gold bugs along Zurich’s Gold Coast come together — no slides, no sales pitches, just genuine conversation about Bitcoin.
Taking place on Monday, January 27 at Ocean Drive Bar in Herrliberg, the gathering is a soft fork of the Bitcoin Meetup Zurich — rooted in the Bitcoin Association Switzerland and a deliberate enrichment of the ZH-Bitcoin community rather than a rival to it. Ties run equally deep with Decentral Switzerland and the Twenty-One Community, reflecting a shared conviction that Bitcoin belongs to no single city and respects no border.
There are no normal presentations or fixed agenda here — ideas find their own way within the group. Investment solicitations, sales offers, and unsolicited advertising have no place here. Neither do shitcoins, DeFi schemes, or NFT collections — those communities are warmly pointed toward their own treehouse gatherings.
Attendance is taken seriously. Those who register are expected to show up — or to cancel in good time if plans change. That small courtesy keeps things fair and manageable for everyone involved.
English speakers are fully at home here too, making this a welcoming stop for international Bitcoiners passing through the region.
