Participants use Bitcoin Testnet to send and receive bitcoin with each other. Testnet mirrors Bitcoin Mainnet but uses test coins, making it a safe, low-pressure way to learn how transactions work without risking real funds. Expect practical steps, live interaction, and time to ask questions as you go.
The wallet used for the session is Blockstream Green, a straightforward mobile wallet available on both Android and iOS. Arrive curious, follow along, and leave with real confidence using a Bitcoin wallet.
Prerequisites:
- Install the Blockstream wallet onto your smart phone before attending.
- Bring a pen & your smart phone.
