The Bitcoin Builders Meetup Berlin is a community event dedicated to exploring Bitcoin and its expanding ecosystem, including Ordinals, Inscriptions, Rare Sats, NFTs, Runes, BRC-20, Runestones, and related innovations.
For this event, there’s a presentation about TollGate, a project that enables WiFi routers to accept bitcoin payments for internet access.
After the presentation, there will be a hands-on workshop to flash the TollGate firmware on WiFi routers. If you have a supported router bring it with you (together with a laptop) so we can flash TollGate together. This allows you to earn satoshis for sharing your WiFi. There will be demo routers to flash as well.
Hosted at the new w3.Hub Berlin co-working space on Möckernstraße 120, next to the Deutsches Technikmuseum and close to the Möckernbrücke U-Bahn station (U1/U3/U7), the Bitcoin Builders Meetup provides a casual setting for builders, enthusiasts, and the curious to connect.
